I fled the lake for San Antonio a few days ago. In five or six weeks I only got to sail 3.5 times due to daily high winds. As soon as I left the winds look to have dropped to an OK level.
![]() I'll try again though in August and September! |

I have had a great time sailing lake sweetwater. The facilities are really good. I enjoy the people in Pappy's and the clear water. I travel about 115 miles to get there each weekend. Would like to see more sailboats on the lake. My buddy Tim and I have 3 sailboats, hobie 14 turbo, sunfish, and flying dutchman. The flying dutchman is being refurbished, but should be on the water in early 2012. We really enjoy this place.

Hello Juan. Saw you on the lake this summer/fall. I am the guy that took the photos of your boat back in August.
I sailed my Sunfish on the lake until the end of September but I'm done till Spring. I may buy a dry suit for an earlier start next Spring - if I can find one I can afford. ![]() |

I've been at the lake for a few weeks waiting for the wind to drop below 20. Finally did yesterday. Wife and grandson went out on Hobies and I put a Sunfish in the water. Was a good two or three hours. Expect to go out again today in the late afternoon.
